Loyalist Lofts are now in our twelfth year of providing clean comfortable suite rentals.
We offer three delightful suites to choose from. Each beautifully maintained apartment
is equipped with modern efficient conveniences in a relaxing comfortable environment.
Loyalist Lofts is centrally located at 56 Mary Street, in the thriving town of Picton. You will enjoy all the town has to offer. Cafes, shopping, dining, the Regent Theatre, great municipal parks and stunning Victorian architecture are steps away from your suite.
All our suites are located in Picton, the commercial hub of Prince Edward County, in a
grand 1877 single family home that was converted to apartments in the 1960’s. The Picton, The Wellington and The Bloomfield suites, were completely renovated in 2006-7. These generously proportioned suites range from 950 square feet to 700 square feet of living space to enjoy.
Beautiful crown molding, ceiling medallions, refinished pine wide plank floors enhanced by 10.5 ft high ceilings create a pleasing ambiance. These architectural details are complemented with comfortable furnishings and new and efficient appliances.

The Lofts
The Wellington - Kitchen
The Wellington suite is a large 850 square foot main floor two bedroom with character to spare. This apartment sleeps five people. The larger bedroom has a king size bed and a single pull out love seat. The other bedroom is furnished with a queen bed. Both bedrooms have a generous closet and dresser space to store your clothes and luggage. The suite has a lovely kitchen that is fully equipped and includes a funky 50s style table and chairs. The living room is very comfortable and a great spot to screen a DVD on the 43 inch smart flat screen. High speed wireless internet and a highly efficient forced air conditioning system are part of the package. A Sandbanks park pass is included with your Loyalist Loft rental. You will also have easy access to the front courtyard and seating area.

The Bloomfield - Bathroom
The Picton suite is 900 square feet of comfort and calm. This 2 bedroom suite can accommodate six people. It is a bright south facing 2nd floor apartment with refinished pine wide plank floors. Each bedroom in the Picton has a queen size bed and large closets and dressers to store clothes and luggage. The larger bedroom is a bed-sit with a pull out double bed . All bedding is provided. The bright fully equipped kitchen has all you will need to prepare meals and dine at the pine kitchen table. The living room is cozy and the perfect spot to watch the 40 inch flat screen or play board games. The large modern bathroom has locally produced soap and all towels are provided. The apartment has cable TV and high speed wireless internet. Highly efficient ductless air conditioning insures your comfort on your summer vacation. You will also have access to our front courtyard seating and barbecue area in a beautiful garden.
The Bloomfield suite is a fabulous 700 square foot two floor one bedroom. The apartment can sleep four comfortably. We enter the apartment via a large screened porch. The main floor is open concept and has a large living room, very comfortably furnished, including a double pull out futon couch, and with a 43 inch flat screen TV. The fully equipped kitchen has full size fridge, stove, microwave oven and dishwasher. Up the stairs leads to beautiful bathroom, all towels and locally produced soap provided. The bedroom has a queen bed and a walk in closet. The apartment has cable TV, high speed wireless internet and efficient ductless air conditioning. A Sandbanks Park pass is included in your Loyalist Loft rental. You will also have access to a barbecue and your screened porch has table and chairs for outdoor dining.

We are well situated for your expeditions to explore the wineries, art studios, artisanal cheese, fine dining, fishing, hiking and biking, the recreational paradise that is Prince Edward County.
We highly recommend Bocado, Hartley’s Tavern , and The Acoustic Grill, for restaurants in walking distance of the Loyalist Lofts.
Some of our favourite wineries in the area are Three Dog Winery, Huff Estates, and Waupoos Winery. Both Parsons Brewing Company & Prince Eddy's Brewing Company are close to Picton and producing exceptional craft beers.
Everything you have heard about Sandbanks Provincial Park beaches is true. The best beach on the inland sea of Lake Ontario. A park pass to enjoy this wonderful oasis comes with your Loyalist Loft rental.
We have witnessed the phenomenal growth of the wine scene here in the county. The incredible development of this delectable industry has been a blessing to the area. Enjoy a glass in our courtyard garden to end your day. Wine tours are available.
Fine dining is now a staple for our area. There is new a dynamic selection of great restaurants to enjoy. Cab service is available.
Fantastic biking awaits you on the gently rolling roads or explore the refurbished Millennium trail, the re-purposed railway right of way that traverses the length of Prince Edward County. We offer secure bike storage at Loyalist Lofts.
Prince Edward County is a water recreational paradise. Fishing is world renowned and boat and sea doo rentals are locally available.

I wanted to express my thanks and my gratitude for having established such a great place to come to and stay. I loved what you did with the loft (from the swank new bathroom, to all of the furnishings and decorative aspects). It was nice to come back to after a day of wine touring / driving / beaching.
I am definitely keeping Loyalist Lofts in mind when I need to have a place to get away to (even if it's just for a weekend).
